The 46th Anniversary of the Recovery of Oued Eddahab: A Major Milestone in Morocco’s Territorial Unity

On Thursday, August 14, the Moroccan people commemorated the 46th anniversary of the recovery of the Oued Eddahab province, a historical moment that marks a decisive step in the process of completing the Kingdom’s territorial integrity.

On August 14, 1979, scholars, notable figures, and tribal leaders from the Oued Eddahab region traveled to the Royal Palace in Rabat to pledge their allegiance to the late His Majesty King Hassan II.
