Abdelwahab Doukkali Sets the Mohammed V Theater Ablaze with an Exceptional Concert

The Mohammed V National Theatre in Rabat resonated with the enchanting melodies of the legendary Moroccan singer, Abdelwahab Doukkali, during an unforgettable concert on Friday night, marking his much-anticipated return to the stage after a long absence.
This magical evening allowed the audience to reconnect with Doukkali’s unique musical universe, as he performed some of his most iconic hits, including “Marsoul el Hob,” “Kan ya makan,” “Mana Illa Bachar,” and “Kataajabni.” The singer-songwriter, exuding his legendary charisma, set the stage ablaze, perfectly in sync with an enthusiastic audience that joyfully sang along to his most beloved songs.

Born in 1941, Abdelwahab Doukkali is one of the greatest names in classical Moroccan and Arab music. From a young age, he received training in music, theater, and painting before embarking on his artistic career in 1957.
