AFEM Celebrates 25 Years of Women’s Leadership and Entrepreneurial Commitment
A Quarter of a Century Supporting Female Entrepreneurship
The Association of Women Business Leaders of Morocco (AFEM) will celebrate its 25th anniversary on December 5, 2025, marking twenty-five years of continuous action in support of the development of female entrepreneurship in Morocco. Founded in 2000, AFEM has established itself as an essential platform for mobilization, advocacy, and co-construction, working toward better integration of women into the national economic fabric. Thanks to the determination of visionary pioneers, the Association has significantly ensured the enduring presence of women entrepreneurs at the heart of the Kingdom’s economic dynamics.
A Ceremony Under the Sign of Female Leadership
Under the theme "Leadership and Female Entrepreneurship: For an Inclusive Morocco," this major celebration will bring together institutional actors, financial partners, national and international representatives, as well as founding members and affiliates from various regions of Morocco. Delegations from international networks of women business leaders—including from France, Monaco, and Tunisia—will also be present to mark this exceptional event.

Honors, Tributes, and Celebrating Inspiring Journeys
A highlight of the evening will be the recognition of women who have made their mark in the history of the Association through the presentation of the AFEM Awards, celebrating exemplary journeys and remarkable contributions. The event will also feature artistic performances and a collective exhibition, showcasing the talents of Moroccan women.
Reflecting on 25 Years of Impact and Future Perspectives
This celebration will be a prime opportunity to revisit key moments in AFEM’s actions, recognize the resilience and solidarity of women entrepreneurs, and renew the Association’s commitment to a more inclusive, equitable, and prosperous Morocco. To commemorate this historic milestone, an institutional film and a commemorative book outlining the evolution of AFEM will be presented as a preview.
