Airbus Recalls 6,000 A320 Aircraft Due to Faulty Software

Airbus has initiated a massive recall of 6,000 A320 aircraft following a JetBlue flight that unexpectedly nosedived in late October in the United States due to software vulnerable to solar radiation.
For the majority of these aircraft, the update will take just a few hours. However, 1,000 planes will require a complete hardware overhaul, which could take several weeks.
The incident occurred during a cruise flight between Cancun and Newark, with the aircraft landing safely in Tampa, although a few passengers sustained minor injuries.
Airbus has apologized for the disruptions and emphasizes that safety remains its top priority. The A320, launched in 1988, is now the best-selling aircraft in the world, surpassing the Boeing 737.
