Tourism Observatory Reports Increased Night Stays in Al Haouz Province for 2025
The Tourism Observatory has announced that the number of overnight stays at classified tourist accommodation establishments (EHTC) in Al Haouz Province reached approximately 1.383 million in 2025, reflecting a 4% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
In its statistics on tourism trends for the January to December 2025 period, the Observatory noted that the occupancy rate in EHTC in Al Haouz Province stood at 78% by the end of December 2025, an increase of 4 percentage points from the previous year.
For the month of December alone, Al Haouz’s EHTC recorded a total of 108,000 overnight stays, marking a 12% decrease compared to the same period in 2024. The occupancy rate for tourist establishments in Al Haouz in December of the previous year was 63%, down 12 percentage points when compared to December 2024.
At the national level, the total number of overnight stays recorded in EHTC surpassed 43.4 million by the end of December 2025, representing a 9% increase from the same period in 2024, according to the Tourism Observatory. The occupancy rate in these establishments reached 58% by the end of December last year, reflecting an improvement of 3 percentage points year-on-year.
