Alert Bulletin: Strong Wind Gusts with Sandstorm and Dust Swirls in Several Regions of the Kingdom
The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts strong wind gusts accompanied by sandstorms and dust storms in several regions of the Kingdom from Thursday to Friday.
Orange Alert
In an orange level alert bulletin, the Directorate warns of strong winds with sandstorms reaching 90 to 100 km/h in the provinces and prefectures of Chtouka Aït Baha, Taroudant, Tiznit, Tata, Agadir Ida-Ou-Tanane, Inzegane-Aït Melloul, Guelmim, and Sidi Ifni, from Thursday at 9 AM until Friday at 9 AM.
Dust Storms
Wind gusts of 80 to 90 km/h, accompanied by dust storms, are also expected in the provinces of Chichaoua, Al Haouz, and Ouarzazate on Thursday from 9 AM to 11 PM.
The General Directorate of Meteorology urges citizens to exercise caution, especially road users, and recommends following the official weather bulletins for any updates.
