An Ambitious Summer for RAM: Over 6.6 Million Seats and New Destinations

Royal Air Maroc Unveils Expanded Flight Program for Summer 2025

As part of its preparations for the summer season of 2025, Royal Air Maroc has announced the launch of an extensive flight program, showcasing unprecedented numbers in both seat availability and serviced destinations.

This initiative aims to facilitate travel for the Moroccan community residing abroad during the summer holidays, offering over 6.6 million seats—an increase of more than 700,000 compared to summer 2024—across more than 95 destinations worldwide.

The new program includes the introduction of four direct international routes connecting Morocco to São Paulo, Beijing, Toronto, and Catania, alongside bolstered domestic links with a new connection between Rabat and Dakhla. This is part of a strategy to enhance the Kingdom’s air connectivity.

The airline is also strengthening its presence in the UK market by adding a new direct route to Stansted Airport in London, complementing existing services to Heathrow and Gatwick, as well as a recently launched route to Manchester.

On the African continent, the frequency of flights to Nouakchott has been increased to nine per week, while the service to Dakar now offers two daily flights. Four European destinations—Malaga, Valencia, Lisbon, and Porto—will be serviced by Boeing 737 and Embraer 190 aircraft.

To provide a smoother travel experience, Royal Air Maroc is implementing a new scheduling system via its Casablanca hub, with dedicated nighttime slots for flights to Europe and daytime slots for flights to Africa, thereby streamlining connections with domestic flights.

In terms of fleet capabilities, the airline has enhanced its operational capacity with the addition of eight new aircraft, including two Boeing Dreamliner 787-900s and six Boeing 737-8 MAXs, which has reduced its reliance on external chartering to four aircraft this season, split between long-haul and medium-haul flights.

The national carrier asserts that this seasonal setup aligns with its strategy to develop its services and expand its network while maintaining the highest standards of safety and comfort. The goal is to provide a travel experience that meets passenger expectations and solidify Morocco’s position as a strategic air hub.
