The Jordanian national football team has qualified for the quarterfinals of the Arab Cup following a convincing victory over Kuwait (3-1) on Saturday in Doha, during the second matchday of Group C.
Jordanian Dominance with Three Key Scorers
The Jordanians opened the scoring with a goal from Ahmed Abou Taha in the 17th minute, followed by Saad Roussan doubling the lead shortly after halftime (49th minute). In the closing moments of the match, Ali Alouane sealed the victory with a penalty (90+7′).
Kuwait managed to narrow the gap with a goal from Youssef Sliman in the 84th minute, but was unable to change the outcome.
Confident Leadership in Group C
With this win, Jordan, coached by Moroccan manager Jamal Sellami, takes the lead in Group C with 6 points. Egypt and Kuwait follow closely with one point each, while the United Arab Emirates sit at the bottom with zero points.
