Morocco as a Footballing Nation: An Aligned ONMT-FRMF Strategy

The Director General of the National Office of Moroccan Tourism (ONMT), Achraf Fayda, presented an integrated strategy aimed at enhancing Morocco’s attractiveness through the “Morocco, Land of Football” campaign.

As part of this initiative, several major actions have been undertaken:

  • Mobilizing travel agencies to promote dedicated tourism packages.

The ONMT is also collaborating with influencers and content creators from the 24 participating countries to spotlight the six host cities and their infrastructures.

International Recognition of the Moroccan Model

FIFA Secretary General, Mattias Grafström, praised Morocco’s central role in global football, reiterating that it is “a land of champions and hospitality.” The Kingdom has long hosted African teams seeking certified stadiums, illustrating its solidarity and continental leadership.
