Casablanca on the Brink of a Historic Urban Transformation with the Launch of the ‘Atlantic Tower’ Project

Casablanca is preparing to welcome one of Morocco’s most iconic architectural projects with the launch of the Atlantic Tower, which promises to reshape the urban skyline and position the city as a modern hub for urban development in Africa.
A Record-Breaking Skyscraper on the Atlantic Coast
Located near the Morocco Mall, the tower will reach an impressive height of 390 meters, making it, upon completion, the tallest skyscraper in Africa.
The project will feature an integrated blend of uses: modern offices equipped with the latest technologies, luxury apartments, upscale hotels, as well as diverse commercial and recreational spaces, making Casablanca a major attraction for investors and visitors alike.
A Vision for an Urban Skyline and Economic Opportunities
This initiative is part of a broader strategy to transform Casablanca into Morocco’s leading urban skyline. It is expected to create new job opportunities and stimulate both local and foreign investments in real estate and urban development, thereby enhancing the city’s economic and strategic role at both regional and continental levels.
The Origin and Revival of the “Atlantic Tower” Project
The original idea dates back to 2013, when Mohammed VI strongly criticized city officials during the opening of Parliament. This intervention prompted authorities, under the leadership of Khalid Safir, to launch a series of ambitious projects aimed at modernizing Casablanca, including an initially canceled Atlantic Tower project for undisclosed reasons.
Today, with the revival of the “Atlantic Tower” project, Casablanca is poised to write a new chapter in its urban history, combining modernity, innovation, and excellence, while reaffirming its status as a symbol of the dynamism and future ambitions of the metropolis.
