Casablanca-Settat: Ongoing Efforts by SRM to Secure Sewage Networks

Teams from the Casablanca–Settat Multiservices Company (SRM) are currently carrying out field interventions in various streets and neighborhoods across the region. Their main goal is to ensure the smooth operation of sewage infrastructures during periods of precipitation.

SRM Casablanca–Settat emphasizes its continuous mobilization before, during, and after rainfall events to guarantee optimal operation of sewage networks as well as rainwater collection and evacuation systems.

In this context, the company has implemented a series of proactive and preventive measures in response to alerts issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology. These initiatives aim to mitigate the impacts of heavy rainfall and enhance rapid response capabilities on the ground.

To this end, all teams, along with several essential local and central resources, have been deployed to monitor, follow up on, and clean sewage facilities throughout the affected areas, particularly at points most vulnerable to significant runoff.
