Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens Higher on Friday

The Casablanca Stock Exchange started positively on Friday, with its benchmark index, the MASI, rising by 0.26% to reach 18,890.61 points.

The MASI 20, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, increased by 0.35% to stand at 1,553.06 points. Meanwhile, the MASI ESG, which tracks companies with the highest ESG ratings as published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, climbed by 0.61% to 1,312.81 points.

Additionally, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which measures the performance of small and medium enterprises listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, gained 0.08% to reach 1,792.28 points.

On Thursday, the MASI had closed with a modest increase of 0.07%.
