Ukrainian goalkeeper Anatoli Troupine of Benfica admitted that he did not fully understand the qualification calculations in the final moments of the thrilling match that saw his team secure a 4-2 victory over Real Madrid during the eighth and final day of the Champions League group stage.

After the match, Troupine stated:
“I didn’t exactly understand what we needed. I saw everyone signaling me, so I moved forward, and then realized I could push ahead. We needed an additional goal.”
