CHAN 2025: Morocco Triumphs Over Zambia and Strengthens Its Qualification Prospects

The Moroccan national team of local players secured a valuable victory against Zambia (3-1) this Thursday during the fourth day of Group A of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), held at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi.

Goals from the Atlas Lions were scored by Mohamed Hrimat in stoppage time of the first half (45+2), Oussama Lamlioui in the 67th minute, and Sabir Bougrine in the dying moments of the match (90+5). Zambia managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Andrew Phiri in the 70th minute.

With this victory, Morocco now totals six points from three matches, significantly boosting their chances of advancing in the tournament.
