Cold, Snow, Rain, and Strong Winds: Weather Forecast for Wednesday in Morocco

Weather Forecast for Wednesday: Cold Conditions Expected Across Several Regions
The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts relatively cold weather for this Wednesday across various regions of the Kingdom, particularly in the Atlas mountains, the Rif, and the high plateaus of the Oriental region, with snowfall anticipated on the peaks of both the High and Middle Atlas.
Localized rainfall is expected in the Atlantic plains south of El Jadida, as well as in the southeastern regions of the country and the Souss area. Additionally, cloudy spells accompanied by light showers will affect the northern Atlantic plains, the Rif, Saïss, the Atlas mountains, the Mediterranean coast, the Oriental region, the southeast, and the southern coasts.
Strong gusts of wind are also forecasted for the Atlas, central regions, the southern part of the Oriental, and the southern coasts, which may locally lead to dust storms.
Minimum temperatures will range from -2 to 5°C in the Atlas mountains, between 5 and 10°C in the Rif, the southeastern Oriental, and the southeastern slopes, while other areas will see temperatures between 10 and 16°C.
During the day, temperatures are expected to rise slightly along the Atlantic coasts and the southern provinces, while they will decrease in other parts of the territory.
The sea will be slightly to moderately rough in the Mediterranean and the strait, while it will be rough to very rough—and potentially extremely rough in localized areas—between Mehdia and Tantan. Other coastlines will remain slightly to moderately rough.
