Cold weather and light rain in several regions with a rise in temperatures expected

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts relatively cold weather for the Atlas Mountains, the Rif region, and the high plateaus of the Oriental region, especially during the morning and night. Overall, the sky will be partly cloudy over several areas of the Kingdom.
Light and intermittent rainfall is expected in the High and Middle Atlas regions, as well as in the eastern areas. Additionally, low clouds, occasionally dense, could bring very light precipitation to the northern and central Atlantic plains, the Souss region, the Mediterranean coast, and the northwest of the Saharan provinces.
Moderate gusts of wind will notably occur in the Tangier region. Minimum temperatures will range from -6 to -1°C in the Atlas Mountains, from 1 to 5°C in the Rif and high plateaus, from 6 to 12°C in the central plains, and between 13 and 16°C across the rest of the country. Daytime temperatures are expected to rise considerably in most regions.
Regarding sea conditions, the Mediterranean and the Strait will experience slight to moderate waves, while waters between Casablanca and Cap Ghir will be rough to very rough. The sea will be rough between Cap Ghir and Tarfaya, and slight to moderate along the rest of the national coastlines.
