Cold weather and stormy rains expected in several regions of Morocco this Monday.

Weather Forecast: Cold Temperatures and Stormy Conditions Ahead
The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that this Monday will bring relatively cold weather in the Atlas mountains, the Rif region, and the high plateaus, alongside a general drop in maximum temperatures across the country.
Occasional Rain and Snow Expected
Local thunderstorms and rain showers are anticipated over the Rif, the Tangier region, Loukkos, Saïss, the Atlas mountain ranges, as well as the northern and central Atlantic plains, and the phosphate plateaus and Oulmès.
Scattered precipitation will also affect the Mediterranean coast, the Souss region, the northern Oriental area, and regions near the southern Atlantic coastline. Moreover, snowfall is predicted for the High and Middle Atlas, as well as the Rif.
Strong Winds in Several Areas
The DGM also forecasts fairly strong to locally powerful gusts of wind, particularly affecting the Rif, the Mediterranean coast, the Oriental region, the Atlas mountains, the Southeast, and the northern and central plains.
Dropping Temperatures and Rough Seas
Minimum temperatures will range from 0 to 5 °C in the Atlas mountains, from 4 to 9 °C in the Rif, Saïss, and the high plateaus, and from 10 to 16 °C throughout the rest of the Kingdom.
As for sea conditions, the Mediterranean will be calm to slightly choppy, the Strait will be slightly to moderately choppy, and conditions will be rough to very rough between Cape Spartel and Tantan, becoming very rough in the morning, while the other coastlines will see slight to moderate choppiness.
