Death of 37 People Due to Flooding in Safi: Prosecutor’s Office Launches Investigation to Determine Actual Causes of the Incident

An investigation has been launched by the public prosecutor following the torrential rains that hit the province of Safi on Sunday evening, resulting in the death of thirty-seven (37) people, according to preliminary reports, announced the King’s Prosecutor at the Appeals Court of Safi.

The prosecutor has initiated an inquiry through judicial police to determine the true causes of this tragic incident and to clarify the circumstances surrounding it, as stated by the King’s Prosecutor at the Appeals Court of Safi in a press release on Monday.
