Dubai to Host the Arab Media Summit 2026
Dubai will host a new edition of the Arab Media Summit from March 31 to April 2, 2026. This event will bring together an elite group of leaders, media figures, journalists, writers, and content creators from the Arab world.
Objectives of the Summit
Organized by the Dubai Press Club, the summit aims to analyze the Arab media landscape and its impact on societies. It will explore ways to strengthen the role of media in supporting sustainable development and stability, addressing the aspirations of Arab people for a better future.
A New Structure and an Expanded Program
During a press conference held for this occasion, the key features of the expanded structure and intensive program for the three-day event were unveiled. This edition will stand out by organizing approximately ten thematic forums for the first time under a single banner, illustrating a comprehensive vision that views media as an integrated ecosystem rather than merely a one-off event.
Forums and International Partnerships
Key highlights will include the Arab Media Forum, the Government Communication Forum, the Arab Youth Media Forum, the eSports Forum, the Cinema Forum, and the Arab Social Media Influencers Summit. Additionally, forums will be organized in partnership with renowned international media institutions such as Reuters and the Financial Times, alongside parallel activities featuring workshops led by leading global players in digital technologies.
A Strategic Platform for Arab Media
Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Chair of the Summit’s Organizing Committee and of the Dubai Press Club, emphasized that this Arab media gathering now serves as a comprehensive strategic platform. It goes beyond the confines of traditional conferences to become an integrated media project, reflecting the United Arab Emirates’ vision for the future of media and its role as a key partner in development, awareness, and influence.
Distinctions and Awards
The Arab Media Summit will also feature debates, roundtable discussions, and training sessions, culminating in an awards ceremony honoring the winners of three major distinctions: the Arab Media Award (25th edition), the Arab Media Award for Youth (10th edition), and the Social Media Arab Influencers Award (6th edition).
