Eid al-Fitr Celebrated on Monday in Morocco

Aïd Al-Fitr 1446 of the Hijri calendar will be celebrated on Monday, March 31, 2025, in the Kingdom, the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs announced on Sunday evening.

In a statement, the ministry specified that it had conducted observations after the Al Maghrib prayer on Sunday, the 29th of Ramadan 1446, corresponding to March 30, 2025, and confirmed the sighting of the crescent moon, heralding the beginning of the month of Shawwal 1446 H.

Thus, the first day of Shawwal 1446 H, Aïd Al-Fitr, will be on Monday, March 31, 2025, the ministry stated.

May God shower His blessings upon His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Amir Al-Mouminine, and may He renew such occasions for His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, and all members of the illustrious Royal Family, as well as the Moroccan people and the entire Muslim Ummah, granting them prosperity and progress, the statement concluded.
