Flight Cancellations to the Middle East Following Strikes in Iran

Air Travel Disruptions Following US and Israeli Strikes on Iran
The airstrikes launched by the United States and Israel against Iran have led to a wave of flight cancellations to several destinations in the Middle East. Numerous airlines have suspended their routes due to the closure of multiple airspaces in the region.
Airspaces have been shut down in several countries, including Qatar, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, and partially in the United Arab Emirates.
The Israeli Ministry of Transport announced the closure of “Israeli airspace to civilian flights” and urged travelers “not to go to airports until further notice.”
Airspace is also closed in Iran and Iraq. The United Arab Emirates has temporarily and partially closed its airspace, according to local authorities, similar to developments in Syria.
On Saturday, US President Donald Trump announced that the United States had commenced “major combat operations” against Iran. Earlier, Israel had stated that it had initiated a “preventive strike” in order to “eliminate threats to the state of Israel.”
