Four employees of the National Security Directorate die and 26 others are injured in a road accident.

The General Directorate of National Security has announced the tragic death of four of its employees and injuries to 26 others following a road accident involving a bus transporting members of the intervention mobile brigade for an official mission. The vehicle was en route from Sidi Ifni to Agadir to ensure security at a football competition.

Details of the Accident

According to the official statement, the bus carrying 44 officers was involved in a self-collision approximately 24 kilometers from Sidi Ifni early on Saturday morning. The accident resulted in the deaths of four officers, with 26 others injured, including two in critical condition.

Actions Taken by the Directorate

The Director General of National Security has instructed the police prefectorate services in Agadir, as well as medical and social services of the General Directorate, to ensure medical follow-up for the injured and to provide all necessary assistance. Support and condolences have also been arranged for the families of the victims.

Administrative Support for Victims

Additionally, the Human Resources Directorate has been tasked with implementing all administrative measures stipulated by the personnel regulations of the General Directorate of National Security to support the victims of this tragic accident.

This tragic event highlights the risks faced by officers in the line of duty and mobilizes security and medical services to attend to the victims and their families.
