Free Opening of the Tétouan-Fnideq Highway Due to Weather Disruptions

The Moroccan National Highways Company (ADM) announced on Wednesday the free opening of the Tétouan–Fnideq highway to traffic, following the temporary closure of the national road RN16 connecting Fnideq to Tétouan due to difficult weather conditions in northern Morocco.

Exceptional Measure in Coordination with Authorities

ADM specified that, in coordination with the relevant authorities, the Tétouan–Fnideq highway has been accessible free of charge to users since Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 11:30 AM, and will remain so until normal traffic is restored on the RN16.
