Inauguration of a New Sports Hall in Al Hoceïma to Enhance Social Services for National Security Officials

On Wednesday, August 27, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) inaugurated a multidisciplinary gym in the city of Al Hoceïma. This initiative is part of its program aimed at enhancing sports and social services for members of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security officials.

Located at the regional headquarters of Al Hoceïma’s security forces, this new gym is equipped with the latest fitness equipment and includes dedicated spaces for martial arts, as well as sanitary facilities and lockers, thus providing an environment conducive to sporting activities.

This project extends the DGSN’s efforts, implemented in recent years, to modernize and expand the infrastructure of its establishments—particularly sports facilities—to allow police personnel to enjoy spaces that promote the development of their physical and mental skills.

The inauguration of this gym also reflects the implementation of the partnership agreement signed in April 2025 between the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security officials and the Northern Promotion and Development Agency. This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in the field of social and sports infrastructure for the benefit of police personnel.
