Inauguration of the New Provincial Hospital in Fquih Ben Salah
On Thursday, December 25, 2025, the province of Fquih Ben Salah celebrated the inauguration of its new provincial hospital, attended by the Minister of Health and Social Protection, as well as the wali of the Béni Mellal–Khénifra region. This official ceremony is part of a national initiative aimed at enhancing healthcare infrastructure and bringing health services closer to citizens.
Regarded as one of the largest healthcare facilities in the region, this new hospital embodies the national policy for developing healthcare services and implementing the universal social protection program. It is expected to alleviate pressure on existing health structures and enhance medical care for various population segments within the province and neighboring areas.
The realization of this significant project is the result of a collaborative effort between various stakeholders, including local authorities under the leadership of the governor of Fquih Ben Salah, the local municipality headed by the president of the municipal council, and the Regional Multi-Service Company of Béni Mellal–Khénifra through its regional and provincial branches, along with the Provincial Health Delegation and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
In this context, a partnership agreement was established between the Regional Multi-Service Company and the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection for the Béni Mellal–Khénifra region, involving a financial envelope exceeding 13 million dirhams. This agreement focused on connecting the hospital to water supply, electricity, and sewage systems, thereby ensuring its operation under safe and suitable technical conditions.
Moreover, the inauguration day was characterized by a comprehensive mobilization of technical teams from the Provincial Directorate of Fquih Ben Salah. Five teams composed of engineers and technicians were deployed, supported by remote monitoring systems and appropriate logistical resources, to ensure a continuous and reliable power supply as well as the security and stability of the sewage network, particularly given the heavy rainfall experienced in the province on the day of the inauguration.
The provincial hospital of Fquih Ben Salah is anticipated to add significant value to the regional healthcare system, serving as a crucial lever for improving access to health services, upholding the principles of territorial equity and social justice, and addressing the healthcare and social protection needs of the province’s residents.
