Iran Confirms That It Targeted the U.S. Navy in Bahrain

On Saturday, Iran announced that it had targeted the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet based in Bahrain, following reports of a missile attack on this base from the Gulf state.

In a statement reported by the Tasnim news agency, the Iranian military indicated that its missiles and drones struck the headquarters of the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, as well as other American military installations in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
