Maritime Connections Between Tarifa and Tangier Suspended

Ferry services between the port of Tarifa (Cadiz) and Tangier City were canceled on Friday due to unfavorable weather conditions in the Strait of Gibraltar caused by Storm “Regina,” according to port authorities in the Bay of Algeciras.

The ferry companies Morocco Africa Link (AML) and Balearia suspended departures on this route starting at 08:00, as reported on the passenger portal of the Port Authority.

Furthermore, the Port of Algeciras does not foresee any disruptions in its ferry services to Tangier Med at this time, with operations expected to continue normally.

The Port of Tarifa has already recorded several cancellations on the route to Tangier City this week due to strong winds and high waves in the Strait of Gibraltar.
