Maritime Connections Between Tarifa and Tangier Suspended on Tuesday

Maritime traffic between the Spanish port of Tarifa and Tangier has been suspended on Tuesday due to adverse weather conditions affecting the Strait of Gibraltar, announced the port authorities of the Bay of Algeciras.

According to the same source, delays are also expected for maritime connections between Algeciras and Tanger Med.

The Spanish national meteorological agency (Aemet) predicts rain and thunderstorms in the province of Cádiz throughout the day.

Additionally, five regions, including three along the Mediterranean coast and two others in the northern part of the peninsula, are under yellow alert on Tuesday due to heavy rainfall.
