Marrakech: SRM-MS Places Water at the Heart of Citizen Innovation

The Regional Multi-Service Company of Marrakech-Safi (SRM-MS) is organizing its inaugural Open Days from October 28 to 31, 2025, alongside the launch of its first Eco-Village at the Mohammed VI Museum for Water Civilization (Aman Museum).
This unprecedented initiative aims to raise awareness about sustainable water management and promote eco-responsibility among citizens in a context marked by water stress.

In alignment with the Royal Vision for water governance, the SRM-MS seeks to bridge the gap between the public service and citizens while highlighting local initiatives.
“Water is a shared resource; its preservation must be a collective responsibility,” emphasizes the management.

The Eco-Village, a true laboratory for experiments, will feature eight thematic spaces focused on water, energy, and recycling, complete with educational workshops and participatory activities for the youth.
On October 29 and 30, the “Water & Innovation” Hackathon will spotlight the creativity of students and startups as they propose concrete solutions to environmental challenges.

Conferences, panels, and screenings will complement the program, bringing together experts, institutions, and economic stakeholders.
Organized in partnership with the Ministry of Endowments, the Mohammed VI Museum, and the Emerging Business Factory, this event marks a significant milestone towards fostering a culture of sustainability in the region and positions Marrakech-Safi as a pioneering territory for water innovation.
