Meeting of the Government Council on Thursday

Government Council Meeting: A Government Council will convene on Thursday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch, as stated in a release from his department.

At the beginning of its proceedings, the Council will review a draft law concerning the organization of the profession of Adoul (notaries). Following this, it will consider two draft decrees; the first relates to marine aquaculture farms, while the second supplements the decree on the application of value-added tax (VAT) as outlined in Chapter III of the General Tax Code (CGI).

The Council will continue its work by examining the agreement reached on June 17, 2025, between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia concerning military cooperation, as well as a bill to approve this agreement.

The Council will conclude its sessions by reviewing proposals for appointments to senior positions in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.
