Monday’s Weather Forecast: Scattered Rain and Occasional Strong Winds Across Several Regions

Weather Forecast for Monday
The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts scattered showers today, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms, particularly in the northern Saharan provinces and the regions of Souss, Chiadma, Abda, and Rhamna.
Partially Cloudy Skies in the North and Mountains
The sky will be partially cloudy with a few drops of rain over the Rif, Saïss, the Atlas mountains, as well as on the phosphate plateaus and at Oulmès. Additionally, a slight increase in temperatures is expected across the northern and central plains, along with the regions of Saïss and Moulouya.
Strong Winds and Dust Clouds in Certain Areas
Strong gusts of wind are anticipated in Tangier, the Atlas, Souss, Haouz, Rhamna, the central regions, the Oriental, and the northern Saharan provinces, accompanied by local dust cloud phenomena.
Variable Temperatures Across Regions
Minimum temperatures will range from 4°C to 11°C in the Atlas mountains, Rif, and high plateaus of the Oriental. They will vary between 17°C and 24°C in the Saharan provinces, Saïss, southeast slopes, Souss, Rhamna, and central plains, while elsewhere, they will range between 12°C and 16°C. As for maximum temperatures, a rise is expected along the Mediterranean coast, while a decline is anticipated in other parts of the country.
State of the Sea
The sea will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean, slightly rough to rough in the Strait, rough to very rough between Casablanca and Agadir, and slightly choppy to rough along other coasts.
