Morocco Faces New Heat Wave with Temperatures Expected to Reach 47°C

Morocco is bracing for a new wave of heat, with temperatures projected to soar to 47°C in certain provinces. From Wednesday to Saturday, temperatures ranging between 44°C and 47°C are anticipated in the provinces of Tata, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, Boujdour, and Oued Ed-Dahab.

Meanwhile, provinces such as Ouezzane, Fès, Moulay Yacoub, Meknès, Fquih Ben Salah, Khouribga, Settat, Marrakech, Rehamna, Guelmim, and Laâyoune are expected to experience temperatures between 42°C and 44°C on Wednesday and Thursday.

The same weather phenomenon is predicted in the provinces of Taza, El Hajeb, Sefrou, Khénifra, Médiouna, and Nouaceur, as well as within the provinces of Tanger-Assilah, Larache, Kénitra, Salé, Skhirat-Témara, Berrechid, El Jadida, Benslimane, Sidi Bennour, and Safi, as reported by the National Meteorological Directorate (DGM).
