CFAO Mobility Launches the New JAECOO 7 SHS in Morocco
CFAO Mobility has officially announced the launch of the brand-new JAECOO 7 SHS in Morocco, a plug-in hybrid vehicle that fuses performance, cutting-edge technology, and environmental sustainability. Equipped with the Super Hybrid System, this model optimizes the joint use of electric and thermal engines based on driving conditions, delivering a seamless experience both in urban settings and on highways.
With a total output of 346 horsepower and a torque of 525 Nm, the JAECOO 7 SHS accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds. Its 18.3 kWh battery offers an electric range of 90 km, while the combined range (electric and thermal) reaches an impressive 1300 km. The manufacturer has initiated the "J7 SHS Global Super Hybrid Marathon" to showcase this remarkable autonomy, setting records exceeding 1500 km in several countries, including Mexico and Vietnam.
Charging is efficient: it takes just 20 minutes to boost the battery from 30% to 80% using direct current (DC), or three hours via alternating current (AC) with a wall charger. A charging cable (AC/DC) comes included with the vehicle, enabling daily commutes without consuming a drop of gasoline.
In terms of design, the JAECOO 7 SHS maintains a robust SUV look with sleek, modern lines, an imposing grille, and LED headlights. It is available in four colors, including two bi-tone options with a black roof. Measuring 4.5 meters in length and offering a ground clearance of 14.7 cm, it provides excellent interior comfort, boasting a trunk volume of up to 1,336 liters with the rear seats folded down.
Inside, elegance meets technology, featuring a 10.25-inch touchscreen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, an 8-speaker SONY audio system, 64 ambient lighting options, dual-zone automatic climate control with an air purifier, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated faux leather seats, and a 360-degree camera.
On the safety front, the model has earned a 5-star Euro NCAP rating thanks to its structure comprising 80% high-strength steel and seven airbags. The Blade LFP battery is completely waterproof and resistant to shocks, fire, and extreme temperatures.
The JAECOO 7 SHS is equipped with 20 advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), including autonomous emergency braking, collision alerts, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, blind spot monitoring, driver fatigue detection, child monitoring, and descent/ascent assistance, among others.
The vehicle is available starting at 369,000 dirhams for the standard version and 374,000 dirhams for the bi-tone version. A discount of 10,000 dirhams is being offered to the first 50 customers. The vehicle comes with a warranty of 7 years or 200,000 km, and the battery is guaranteed for 8 years or 160,000 km. Test drives will be available starting in July at the OMODA JAECOO showroom on Boulevard de la Corniche in Casablanca.
