Morocco to Host the Inaugural Men’s Under-17 Handball World Championship in 2025
The first edition of the Men’s Under-17 Handball World Championship will take place from October 24 to November 1, 2025, in Morocco, as announced by the International Handball Federation (IHF).
In a statement, the IHF explained that the aim of this new competition is to provide young players with the opportunity to compete against the best international talents and to test their skills in a professional and challenging environment. The IHF also emphasizes that this tournament will allow young handball players to gain crucial experience for their career development, both nationally and internationally.
According to the federation, this inaugural edition will feature 12 teams representing different continents, marking an important milestone for the future of handball on a global scale.
