New Schengen Visa Renewal System at BLS Center in Rabat

To streamline the Schengen visa application process, the BLS center in Rabat implemented a new system as of February 24. This initiative aims to make the renewal process more flexible for various types of visas.

Renewal of One-Year Visas:
Individuals who have obtained a one-year Schengen visa within the last four years can now submit their applications without an appointment from Monday to Thursday, between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, until the weekly quota is reached. It is necessary to provide a copy of the most recent visa when submitting the application.

Renewal of Long-Duration Visas:
Holders of a Schengen visa valid for three years or more, issued within the last four years, may submit their renewal application without an appointment only on Fridays, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, subject to availability each week. A copy of the recent visa is also required.

Renewal of Visas of Two Years or More:
For holders of a Schengen visa valid for two years or more, issued in the last four years, the renewal can be done without an appointment from Monday to Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, within the limits of available slots. A copy of the last visa is necessary as well.

Procedure for Students:
Students can submit their applications directly at BLS Rabat without an appointment, until the daily quota is exhausted. Those who already have an online appointment and a completed application can also submit it immediately, without waiting.

This new measure aims to make administrative processes more accessible and less burdensome for applicants.
