Official Launch of the National Chapter

Women in AI Morocco: The Moroccan technological ecosystem is poised to take a significant step forward with the official launch of the Women in AI Morocco chapter, scheduled for December 5 in Casablanca. This event signifies the establishment of a national network dedicated to promoting female leadership and the development of inclusive and responsible artificial intelligence.

According to Dr. Sofia Ghacham, founder and president of the chapter, this initiative marks “a major turning point for the Kingdom’s digital ecosystem.” She elaborates, saying, “Our ambition is to build ethical, inclusive AI driven by the talent of Moroccan women. We aim to strengthen institutional partnerships, develop a robust international network, and establish an annual event that will position Morocco as a key player in AI on a global scale.”

The launch of the chapter will take place alongside the Women in AI Morocco Summit, organized in partnership with Technopark, Orange Morocco, and DXC Technology. This summit will provide a strategic platform to highlight women’s skills in the field of artificial intelligence, encourage collaboration between public and private stakeholders, and support the rise of technological innovation in Morocco.
