ONCF Partners with CAF as Official Sponsor for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations
The National Office of Railroads (ONCF) has signed a strategic partnership with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to become the official sponsor of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations – Morocco 2025.
This initiative aligns with the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, promoting sports development, strengthening African unity, and empowering youth as drivers of progress and ambition. An ONCF statement confirms its commitment to supporting one of the continent’s largest sporting events.
Paving the Way for an Accessible, Seamless, and Sustainable AFCON 2025
As a key player in national mobility, ONCF will leverage its expertise and nationwide rail network to facilitate a fast, safe, and smooth travel experience for the millions of supporters expected during the competition, enhancing transport between the various host cities.
Through this partnership, ONCF reasserts its mission to connect regions and bring people closer together, placing sustainability and inclusion at the heart of its initiatives.
The official signing ceremony for this partnership took place in Rabat, attended by Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and First Vice-President of CAF; Mohamed Rabie Khlie, Director General of ONCF; Patrice Motsepe, President of CAF; and representatives from the sports, institutional, and media sectors.
With this collaboration, CAF and ONCF reaffirm their commitment to making AFCON 2025 an exemplary, sustainable, and accessible competition, serving both supporters and the promotion of African football.
