ONDA Opens Direct Access to Two Strategic Sectors of Civil Aviation

Major Development in Aeronautical Training Access in Morocco

The National Office of Airports (ONDA) has announced a significant change in access to aeronautical training in Morocco. For the first time, the Air Navigation Control (CNA) and Electronic Safety of Air Traffic (ESCA) programs at the Mohammed VI International Academy of Civil Aviation (AIAC) will be accessible directly through the National Common Competition (CNC).

Previously, these specialized tracks were reserved for students who had initially enrolled in traditional engineering programs such as Computer Engineering, Industrial and Production Engineering, or Electrical, Electronic, and Telecommunications Engineering. This new development enhances the visibility and attractiveness of these specialized courses.

This reform aligns with the dynamic strategy "Airports 2030" spearheaded by ONDA, which aims to train highly qualified profiles capable of addressing the technical and operational challenges of Morocco’s skies in the future.

ONDA emphasizes that this opening allows for better talent selection, an optimization of training offerings, and a closer alignment with the ever-evolving needs of the aviation sector. The objective is clear: to raise the standards of training quality and ensure compliance with international requirements.

This advancement was made possible through the support of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, as well as the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation.

By facilitating access to these promising fields, ONDA reaffirms its commitment to guiding young Moroccan talents towards impactful careers, actively contributing to the country’s technical sovereignty and its strategic vision for 2030.
