Palestinian Startups in the Spotlight at Gitex Africa 2026 in Marrakech

Six innovative Palestinian startups are set to participate in the 4th edition of Gitex Africa, which will take place in Marrakech starting next Tuesday, supported by the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Agency, part of the Al-Quds Committee.

Continuous Support for Palestinian Innovation

The agency is participating in this event for the third consecutive year, thanks to funding from the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform. It will showcase an institutional pavilion along with a space dedicated to its “BMAQ Innovation Hub” incubator.

Diverse Technological Projects

The selected startups, in collaboration with Al-Quds University, span various innovative fields. Among them:

  • “Burhan,” a career guidance platform using artificial intelligence;
  • “GrowApp,” focused on digitalizing childcare services;
  • “HowAISees,” specializing in optimising e-commerce through AI;
  • “Labebo,” offering rehabilitation solutions for children through interactive 3D technologies;
  • “QREDIT,” aimed at digital payments for SMEs;
  • “Hives 360,” leveraging the Internet of Things to modernise beekeeping.

A Space for Exchange and Partnerships

Throughout the fair, which runs until April 9, the agency’s booth will host presentations, B2B meetings, and discussions with both Moroccan and international stakeholders, promoting partnerships and market access.

A Lever for Economic Development

According to the agency, this participation is a strategic opportunity to enhance the role of Palestinian startups in economic and social development, particularly in Jerusalem. It aligns with its digital strategy for 2024-2027, aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and opening new horizons for youth.

A Structured Digital Strategy

Launched in 2024, this strategy is built upon several pillars, including the promotion of heritage through the “Maison du Maroc à Jérusalem” platform, support for startups, solidarity e-commerce, remote learning, and educational applications geared towards youth.

To date, 34 Palestinian startups have benefited from the agency’s supportive programs, with some having already progressed to acceleration phases and access to international markets.
