Paris: Mohammed Berrid Awarded the Insignia of Commander of the Legion of Honor

General Corps Army Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and Commander of the Southern Zone, received the insignia of Commander of the Legion of Honor on Wednesday, alongside the 23rd meeting of the Moroccan-French Joint Military Commission, held on December 9 and 10 in Paris. This high-level Moroccan delegation was led by the Inspector General of the FAR under the Orders of His Majesty the King.
The decoration was presented on behalf of the President of the French Republic by Air Force General Fabien Mandon, Chief of the French Armed Forces Staff (CEMA), during an official ceremony attended by notable civilian and military figures, as stated in a release from the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
On the same occasion, Major General Mohamed Abbar, Inspector of the Military Health Service of the FAR, and Major General Fouad Moumen, Chief of the 4th Bureau of the General Staff of the FAR, were awarded the Medal of the National Order of Merit (Officer Grade).
These decorations are presented in recognition of the efforts made to develop bilateral military relations under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, Supreme Chief and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
