Poutine on a State Visit to India in Early December 2025

Russian President Vladimir Putin will undertake a state visit to India on December 4 and 5, 2025, at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, announced the Indian government on Friday.

According to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, this visit is part of the 23rd annual India-Russia Summit, a key diplomatic platform aimed at strengthening strategic cooperation between the two nations.
Meetings with Senior Indian Officials
During his stay, Vladimir Putin will hold bilateral discussions with Narendra Modi and will also meet with Indian President Droupadi Murmu, the statement adds.
Strengthening the Strategic Partnership
The ministry emphasizes that this state visit will allow the leaders of both nations to:
assess the progress made in their bilateral relationship,
define a new vision for their special and privileged Strategic Partnership,
discuss regional and international issues of mutual concern.
