Precipitation Recorded in the Kingdom Over the Last 24 Hours

The General Directorate of Meteorology has released rainfall data recorded in several cities across the Kingdom over the past 24 hours. The figures indicate significant precipitation, particularly in the northern and central regions of the country.

Taza Leading the Totals

The city of Taza ranks first with 44 mm of rainfall, followed by Fnideq (35 mm) and Chefchaouen (34 mm). The Taza Airport station recorded 31 mm.

Ifrane experienced 27 mm of rain, while Sefrou and Oulmès each measured 23 mm, and Azrou recorded 22 mm.

Significant rainfall totals were also noted in several cities in the north and central regions.

Rainfall reached 21 mm in Tanger-Port, M’diq, and Fez. Khénifra recorded 17 mm, while Azilal received 16 mm, and Tétouan and Sidi Slimane each totaled 15 mm.

Additionally, Rabat and Martil experienced 12 mm of precipitation, compared to 11 mm in Tanger, Meknès, and Al Hoceïma.

Moreover, 10 mm was recorded in Assilah, Settat, Nouaceur, Larache, Kénitra, Casablanca, and Benslimane. Sidi Kacem received 9 mm, while Khouribga measured 8 mm.

Weaker Rainfall Elsewhere

Across the board, 7 mm of rainfall was measured in Tit Mellil, El Jadida, and Béni Mellal; 6 mm in Mohammedia; 5 mm in Salé; and 4 mm in Nador.

Finally, Midelt and Safi each recorded 2 mm, while Berkane, Oujda, Saïdia, Benguérir, and Essaouira each noted 1 mm of rainfall.
