On Saturday, against NAC Breda, PSV struggled for a long time before finding the back of the net. It was finally Guus Til who broke the deadlock with a precise header from a perfectly weighted cross by Ivan Perisic in the 36th minute. The Dutch midfielder thus marks his ninth goal of the season in the Eredivisie.
At the end of this matchday, PSV totals 34 points, now holding a six-point lead over their closest rival, Feyenoord. The Rotterdam club stumbled on Sunday, losing 2-4 to NEC Nijmegen, who climbed back to fourth place in the standings.
