Qatar: 16 Injured and Limited Property Damage Since the Start of the Iranian Attack

The Qatari authorities have announced that 16 people were injured due to debris from Iranian missiles, along with limited property damage reported in various areas of the country, based on received reports and ground assessments.
In a statement, the Qatari Ministry of Interior noted that security services and civil defense teams, in coordination with relevant authorities, immediately initiated their interventions according to approved response plans to ensure public safety, continuity of services, and to strengthen their capacity to respond to any emergency situation, all while continuously monitoring developments on the ground.
The activation of alert and early warning procedures will only occur if there is a necessity for urgent additional preventive measures, the same source clarified. It urged the population to immediately comply with official instructions upon dissemination, to remain at home and only leave in cases of extreme necessity, to avoid approaching any suspicious objects or debris, and to report them immediately while facilitating the passage of ambulances, civil defense teams, and patrols, and avoiding visiting incident sites.
Previously, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its strong condemnation of the targeting of national territory by Iranian ballistic missiles, following the U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran, stating that Doha “reserves the full right to respond to this aggression.”
In this context, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Iranian ambassador to Qatar to express its strong protest, conveying deep outrage and a categorical rejection of the targeting of Qatari territory, which it views as a flagrant violation of its sovereignty, a threat to its security, and a serious infringement of international law and the United Nations Charter.
