Rain and Snow Expected This Wednesday

Thunderstorms Expected Across Several Provinces

Thunderstorms are forecasted for Wednesday in several provinces of the kingdom, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).


These precipitation levels, estimated between 20 and 30 mm, are anticipated from 10 AM to 8 PM in the provinces of Safi, Essaouira, and Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, as stated in an orange alert bulletin.

Significant Snowfall at High Altitudes

The DGM also announces snowfall ranging from 10 to 20 cm starting at altitudes of 1,900 meters. This snow is expected from 6 AM to 11 PM in the provinces of Azilal, Al Haouz, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, and Midelt.
