Rain, snow, and strong winds: unstable winter weather across several regions of Morocco

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts unstable winter weather conditions across the entire Kingdom this Thursday, characterized by snowfall, occasional thunderstorm showers, and strong gusts of wind in several regions.
Snowfall in the High Atlas Mountains
The Directorate specifies that the summits of the High and Middle Atlas will experience snowfall, accompanied by a significant drop in temperatures, which will further intensify the chill in these mountainous areas.
Thunderstorm Showers in Several Regions
Showers and occasional thunderstorms are expected in the regions of Tanger, Loukkos, Rif, Saïs, and along the Mediterranean coast, as well as in the High and Middle Atlas and nearby western zones. These precipitation events will also affect the Atlas plains north of Safi, the Oriental region, Souss, and the northern areas of the Saharan provinces.
Strong Winds and Rough Seas
Strong to locally very strong gusts of wind are forecasted for the Oriental region, the Mediterranean coast, Tanger, and areas of the Atlas. The sea will be rough to very rough along the Mediterranean coastline, moderately rough to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and strong to very strong north of Tarfaya, while it will be moderately rough to rough further south.
Low Night Temperatures with Slight Daytime Rise
Minimum temperatures will range from -6 to -2 °C in the High and Middle Atlas, and from -1 to 4 °C in the Rif and elevated plateaus. In the southern regions of the Kingdom and near the coasts, temperatures will be between 12 and 16 °C, while the rest of the country will experience temperatures ranging from 5 to 11 °C.
