Rain, thunderstorms, and snowfall expected in several regions of the Kingdom.

The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that this Friday will be marked by scattered thunderstorms across several regions of the Kingdom, accompanied by strong winds and snowfall in mountainous areas.
Thunderstorms in the North and Central Regions
Rain and thunderstorms are expected in:
Northwest of the country
The Rif and Loukkos regions
The northern part of the Gharb region
The phosphate plateaus and Oulmès
Saïss
The High and Middle Atlas
The Mediterranean coastline
The Northeast of the Kingdom
Additional rainfall will also affect the Atlantic plains in the North, the western areas of the High and Middle Atlas, as well as the Oriental region.
Snowfall in Mountainous Areas
Snow is expected to fall in the peaks of the High and Middle Atlas, the Rif, and certain areas of the Oriental region, particularly where the altitude exceeds 1,400 meters. This could disrupt road traffic in mountainous regions.
Strong Winds and Dust
Strong to moderate gusts of wind are anticipated in several regions:
Tangier and the Rif
The Northwest
The Atlas Mountains and surrounding areas
Saïss and the phosphate plateaus
The Atlantic plains and the Mediterranean coast
The Oriental, Southeast, and Southern provinces
Dust and sand grains are also expected locally in the Oriental, Southeast, and Southern provinces.
Drop in Temperatures
Minimum temperatures will range between 0 and 6°C in the High Atlas, between 7 and 13°C in the rest of the country, and between 14 and 19°C in desert provinces, Southeast regions, the Oued Moulouya, and coastal areas.
During the day, a significant drop in temperatures is expected across the entire territory.
