Real Betis Celebrates Morocco’s Triumph at AFCON 2025

Real Betis celebrated on Wednesday the decision by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to officially acknowledge Morocco’s victory in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final, an announcement that sparked a strong reaction within the Andalusian club.
During the morning training session, Moroccan internationals Sofyan Amrabat and Abdessamad Ezzalzouli were warmly congratulated by their teammates and coaching staff. A special honor guard was arranged for them, creating an atmosphere filled with pride and appreciation.
This initiative highlights the contributions of both players, particularly Ezzalzouli, who delivered an outstanding performance in the final, underscoring his significance in the offensive strategy of the team led by coach Manuel Pellegrini.
Meanwhile, Amrabat continues to regain his strength following his recent return to collective training after undergoing surgery on his right ankle at the end of January.
On the European front, Real Betis will face Panathinaikos on Thursday in the return leg of the Europa League Round of 16, with aspirations of securing a place in the quarter-finals.
