A Strengthened Point-to-Point Strategy in the North

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) continues to implement its point-to-point development strategy in the northern region of the Kingdom, offering an expanded and diverse network of air connections linking Morocco to Europe and the rest of the world.

New Direct Routes from Tangier and Nador

Following the announcement of new routes connecting Tétouan to Barcelona, Malaga, and Madrid, as well as Casablanca to Bilbao and Alicante, the national airline has launched three new direct and regular routes between Tangier and the cities of Malaga, Barcelona, and Madrid.

Additionally, Nador will now have direct connections to Barcelona, Frankfurt, and Düsseldorf, further enhancing the air connectivity of the northern region of the Kingdom with major European hubs.

A Lever for Tourism and Economic Exchange

According to Hamid Addou, the CEO of Royal Air Maroc, the launch of these new direct connections, coupled with the opening of the Tétouan airbase, exemplifies the airline’s commitment to promoting Morocco’s tourism appeal.

These new routes respond to a growing demand for connectivity and contribute to strengthening economic, tourism, and human exchanges between Morocco and Europe.

Enhanced Connectivity with Spain and Germany

Thanks to this expansion, Royal Air Maroc will now connect nine Spanish cities to five Moroccan cities, offering over 80 weekly flights.
Similarly, three German cities will be linked to three Moroccan cities, totaling more than 35 weekly flights.

Casablanca, a Strategic Hub for the Airline

This expansion cements Royal Air Maroc’s role as a key air bridge between Morocco and Europe. It also enhances the connectivity provided by the Casablanca hub, facilitating access to the airline’s extensive African and international network.
