Runway Incident at Fès-Saïss Airport: An Air Océan Plane Damaged, Four Injured

Aviation Incident Reported in Morocco: Hawker XP800 Aircraft En Route from Marrakech to Fès Crashes upon Landing
An aviation incident occurred on Friday, April 11, at 4:10 PM, involving a Hawker XP800 aircraft registered as CN-TKC and operated by the Moroccan airline Air Océan. The plane, which was on a flight from Marrakech to Fès, veered off the runway during its landing at Fès-Saïss Airport before crashing into the airport’s perimeter wall, according to an official statement from the Ministry of Transport and Logistics.
The accident resulted in significant material damage to the aircraft and left four people injured, including three crew members and one individual on the ground. The victims were promptly attended to and urgently evacuated to a specialized clinic in Fès, the same source reported.
In line with established protocols, the Bureau of Investigations and Analyses (BEA) for civil aviation accidents, under the authority of the ministry, swiftly dispatched a team of technical investigators to the accident site. Their mission is to ascertain the exact causes and circumstances surrounding this incident.
The ministry emphasized its commitment to public reassurance, stating that all necessary measures are being taken to thoroughly investigate the event and ensure the safety of air transport in Morocco.
